Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Way over priced! Their pizza would be very good if they did not skimp on the sauce. Last time I went there, we ordered two medium pizzas and ask if they could add a little more sauce. They charged me an extra $4 for sauce. I can understand charging more for extra cheese, since that is the most expensive ingredient on a pizza, but $4 for a little extra sauce. By the way, the pizza still did not have enough sauce. Also, I hope you don't want a soda refills, because that will cost you extra too.

My colleague and I went for dinner as it was recommended by a local. We were greeted by the owner, John, and were treated like kings for the rest of the night. The pizza was incredible! The make their own sausage and sauce that has been a family secret for over 50 years! Of equal importance was the service there. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Definitely give it a shot if you're in the area. They open at 4:00PM each day and close at 10PM. On a sidenote, I recommend trying the garlic cheesebread as well. You'll thank me later!

Soooo bad... Staying at the hotel next door & the Front Desk said this restaraunt was great. Couldn't be further from the truth! I ordered the $16 lasagne special, which ended up being a big slab of frozen lasagne, barely reheated all the way through, topped with too much canned red sauce. The accompanying garlic bread was bland & greasy... To top it all off, when I got the bill, the meal was $19- not the posted special price. I was so ready to leave, I didn't argue it. I wish I would've gone to one of the many chain restaurants nearby instead!

So it has been a while since i have been to this restaurant. I used to frequent it a lot when I lived there! The most memerable visit was when the Packers won the super bowl! My two sisters and I had this amazing bartender that i will never forget, Joann! Ive never seen a bartender more on it than she was! She was shoot and very helpful in describing the menu! We ordered the Bowlers Pizza and it was great! Unfortunately the most recent time I was in town I stopped in and the place looks and feels completely different! This bar used to be well staffed with smiling faces and I know the owner used to hang out there to make sure that everything went smoothly... not so much the case anymore. I sat at the bar and could overhear the couple at the nearest table complain about their meals. When I asked about Joann the bartender Kattie Lynn told me that she was no longer there. boooo but Kattie Lynn honestly was the reason I decided to stay and have a few drinks. Unfortunately she also told me that she isn't there that often either. Guess this place can't hold on to great bartenders.. or customers from the look of their yelps. Kind of miss the old staff what happened here?

I'm from Chicagoland, so I know pizza. There were three reasons I went to Pasquale's: 1.) I was hungry; 2.) I wanted pizza; and 3.) the most important - it was right next door to the hotel. I ordered the personal size thin crust extra crispy sausage pizza. OMG! It was so good I didn't want it to end! This was the best pizza. Probably the greatest part, if you can pick just one element, was the caramelized crust. This pizza could win a Chicago pizza contest hands down. Also, the place was very clean and the waitstaff was awesome. I would only wish there were a Pasquale's Pizza place near Chicago. Yum!

This was one of the worst meals we have ever had. We arrived and were seated right away. the service was slow. once we ordered our salads, it took about 25 minutes to get them. The salads were very basic, with one cucumber slice, one tomato slice, 3 croutons and essentially no dressing. 2 people in our party ordered the seafood ravioli, which came with only 5 ravioli and were $19 per plate. They were bathed in a watery milky substance, which had the consistency of water and lacked any flavor. I ordered the chicken tetrazzini which also came in a watery substance, which did not have any flavor. I could not eat my meal. My son ordered a pizza, which was ok, but he was not even given a plate. The waitress asked at one point how the food was and when we started to tell her about the issues, she walked away. I would not waste your time or money.

Best place in the world (that I've been to so far) for lasagna. You simply can't get handmade sauce and sausage anymore. Everything else, including the pizza, is really good as well.

Excellent pizza, service is friendly but can be slow...depending on who you get...but it's worth the wait.

Once a _full_hour_ passed before getting so much as our drinks we seriously considered leaving. And then the drinks came. Then _finally_ our food, and one of the orders was wrong. Way wrong. The table behind us had problems with the bill, but just paid it and said she'd take the overcharge out of the tip. The table over from us received one wrong order. The waitress was sort of apologetic and made excuses about having to also serve "in the back." Completely unacceptable. Even if the food was good it is now not memorable due to the overwhelmingly poor service.
